Device Compatibility for day77 Mobile

Common Installation Issues and Troubleshooting
If you encounter errors during Android APK installation, the most common cause is that "Install from Unknown Sources" is not enabled or is restricted by your phone's manufacturer. Navigate to Settings → Security (or Apps → Special Access on newer Android versions) and toggle on "Install from Unknown Sources" (the label varies by device). Some phones also block installation from certain file managers — if the APK does not open, try downloading it again or moving the file to a different location before tapping it.
If installation fails with a certificate or permissions error, your phone may have an older security certificate that does not recognise day77's signing key. In this case, switch to the web app — it does not require certificate verification. Our support team can also assist if you provide the exact error message.
For iOS users, if the web app loads slowly or freezes, try clearing your browser cache (Settings → [Browser Name] → Clear History and Website Data) and reopening day77.app. If problems persist, try a different browser such as Chrome or Firefox. Most iOS users experience no issues with Safari.
Data, Permissions, and Account Security on day77 Mobile
Both the Android app and web app communicate with day77's servers using encrypted HTTPS connections. Your username, password, and payment details are never stored on your phone — they remain on our secure servers. The app only stores a session token (like a temporary login pass) locally, and this token expires after a set period of inactivity, forcing you to log in again for security.
The Android APK requests standard permissions: internet access (to connect to day77 servers), storage access (to cache game graphics and session data), and notification permission (to alert you of account events). These permissions are necessary for the app to function. We do not request camera, microphone, location, or contact permissions. If the APK requests any permission that seems unnecessary, do not install it — contact us immediately to report the issue.
We recommend enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) on your day77 account. With 2FA active, even if someone obtains your password, they cannot access your account without a second verification code sent to your mobile number.
